Negroamaro und die vergessene Rebsorte Susumaniello bilden eine wunderbar kraftvolle Cuvée. Intensiv dunkelrot in der Farbe. In der Nase ein Hauch von Gewürzen, Blaubeere, Kakao und Lakritze. Sehr elegant im Geschmack, warm, harmonisch mit delikaten, süßen Tanninen.

Mit der schweren Flasche und dem reduzierten, aber sehr eleganten Etikett setzen die Winzer und Önologen einen neuen Meilenstein in der Geschichte der Cantine Sampietrana. 30 % der Trauben werden vor der Lese im Appassimento-Stil getrocknet, wodurch die Weine extraktreicher werden.

Passend zu:
Steaks, Pasta, Braten, Wild und reifen Käsesorten.

Das Weingut:
Die Geschichte des Weingutes Sampietrana geht ins Jahr 1952 zurück. Italien erholt sich langsam vom Krieg. Im Süden des Landes geht es bedachtsam voran und die ersten Traktoren zeigten den Beginn der Modernisierung der Landwirtschaft an. Viel unbebautes Land, das Großgrundbesitzern gehörte, wurde nach der Landreform an landwirtschaftliche Kooperativen gegeben. Das Weingut wurde auf einer Fläche von rund 4.000 Quadratmetern gegründet, nur wenige Meter entfernt von der Eisenbahnstrecke, die den Süden und Norden Italiens verbindet, und die zu der Zeit das einzige Transportmittel war. Im Laufe der Jahre ist das Weingut Sampietrana den Traditionen treugeblieben, hat sich den Herausforderungen und neuen Chancen des globalen Marktes angepasst und erfolgreich seine Präsenz weltweit ausgebaut. Die Weinberge erstrecken sich auf einer Fläche von 190 Hektar fruchtbarem Land. Heute wie damals stellen die derzeitigen Mitglieder Qualitätstrauben her, die für die Produktion von erstklassigem Wein benutzt werden und sich durch einzigartige Fülle, Komplexität und Eleganz auszeichnen.
